The contact associated with employees is tricky to be seen in HCM. If you go by the Manage Person page and try to search for the Contact then you may not find the Contact even if you know the contact Person number
The best way to look into the Contact is via the Contact page within the Employee
- Navigate to employee
- Go to Manage Person tab within employee and click on Contacts
- Now click on a navigation hyperlink which says See contact under Manage Person screen
Note:
In case you want to find out the contact person number from backend then you can search the PER_CONTACT_RELSHIPS_F table and find the Contact Person ID , this corresponds to the ID of the contact.
Now query this ID in the Per_all_people_f table and you will find the Person(Contact) number.
The Person id that is stored in the PER_CONTACT_RELSHIPS_F table signifies the ID of the employee who has these contacts associated with him.
